Dr. Anca CHIRIAC

Anca Chiriac, M.D., Ph.D., is a practicing electrophysiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She has a passion for teaching and is the Assistant Program Director of the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship.

Dr. Răzvan M. CHIRILĂ

Dr. Răzvan M. Dr. Adrian G. DUMITRAȘCU

Dr. Adrian DUMITRAȘCU, MD is a board certified internist in Jacksonville, Florida.

He received his medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy and has been in practice for more than 20 years. 

He is affiliated with Mayo Clinic Hospital in Florida.

Dr. Shahyar M. GHARACHOLOU

Shahyar M. GHARACHOLOU, MD, MSc is an interventional cardiologist with special interest in cardiovascular disease in older adults, particularly patients with frailty and complex comorbidity.

He is fellowship trained in both Cardiovascular Disease and Geriatrics and his research interests include acute and chronic ischemic heart disease in older adults, heart failure disease management, peripheral vascular disease, and frailty.

Dr. Shahyar M. GHARACHOLOU

Shahyar M. GHARACHOLOU, MD, MSc is an interventional cardiologist with special interest in cardiovascular disease in older adults, particularly patients with frailty and complex comorbidity.

Dr. Dana M. HARRIS

Dana M. HARRIS, MD, is a general internal medicine practitioner, with specialty interest in infectious diseases in which she is Board Certified.

Her clinical focus includes:

  • Expertise in management and prevention of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, musculoskeletal pain.
  • Complex coordination of care and diagnosis of unresolved illness.
  • Promoting each patient’s understanding of disease and empowering patients to become partners in managing their health.
  • Discerning each patient’s unique expectations of living with chronic disease and collaborating with patients to resolve issues and achieve balance.
  • Preventing nosocomial infections.
  • Guiding learning of medical residents and medical students in the clinical setting.

Dr. Dana M. HARRIS

Dana M. HARRIS, MD, is a general internal medicine practitioner, with specialty interest in infectious diseases in which she is Board Certified.

Dr. Aleksandra MURAWSKA BAPTISTA

Aleksandra MURAWSKA BAPTISTA is a board-certified family medicine physician who also finished a fellowship program in Hospital Medicine and has been working as a Hospitalist since 2017. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Mayo Clinic.

Dr. MURAWSKA BAPTISTA graduated Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland. She then graduated research fellowship program in Cleveland Clinic Florida after which she attended a residency program in Alabama. She was an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and then she joined the Hospital Internal Medicine Department in Florida as a Senior Associate Consultant.

Dr. MURAWSKA BAPTISTA’s clinical practice focuses on the treatment of the patients who needed to be admitted to the hospital for various reason. She is a part of multiple committees, including sepsis committee and educational committee.

She is also a part of Physician Recruitment Committee and she is involved in students and residents education.

Her research interest include: COVID treatment and outcomes, rare diagnosis and quality improvement projects.

He participates in single center and multi-center prospective clinical trials evaluating therapeutic options in prevention of cardiovascular complications of cancer therapies.
